About The Wray Family

I pray that all is well with you & yours in this new year.

I personally miss doing the newsletter and I hope that you can assist me with
the successfulness of the "re-launch" endeavor I will be attempting.

My current idea for the relaunch is to revamp the newsletter from the start
and have specific monthly columns contributed by you.

For example:

Anthony - Computer Tips
Doris - Recipes
Eva/Ernestine - Family History info.
Libby/Clint - Bible Lesson, scripture readings, etc.
Celeste - Motivation & Inspiration, etc.
Jerry/Janell - ????
Tricia - Event/Party Planning tips
Neville - ????
Joetta - ????

I think if there is a balance of 50% family content & 50% day-to-day life
content and if it contains contributions from our Elder generation as well as
our younger generation, it would appeal to everyone.

The column topics that I mentioned above for each one of you, are just "loose"
ideas I had. By all means, you can contribute whatever your heart desires.
However, I believe the topic you do choose, should be pretty consistent every
month.

If you do decide to participate & contribute, the only painful part of this
process that I see on your behalf, would be writing your column & submitting
it to me by the deadline, which will be a SET-DATE every month. I will take
care of EVERYTHING else.

I would like to RE-LAUNCH the newsletter early February (yes, in 2-3 weeks)
and based on the responses of interest that I receive from you, I'll know how
realistic & doable that is.

I know that each one of you have a life and are busy on a daily basis. But I
can speak from personal experience, and tell you that your column
contribution, should take no more than 1 hour of your time on a monthly basis.

Also, it's my understanding that the next family reunion will be held in
Louisville, KY in 2009, right? The sooner this information is communicated to
everyone, the sooner everyone can start making their plans on being there.

So, I look foward to hearing from you with ANY & ALL ideas, feedback,
inquiries, etc. that you may have.

Hugs & Kisses to all......

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
